LeBeau: *When he sees Klink touching Hogan with the crop he starts towards him spitting french curses at him* Keep your hands off our Colonel, filthy boche!! *But Kinch holds him back and he struggles against the bigger man to no avail*

Kinch: Stop Louis! *Wraps himself around his friend to prevent him doing something stupid* Calm down! That doesn't help anyone! *Whispers* old blood n guts is just miffed, tomorrow he'll be normal again...

Klink: *Keeps the crop where it was while he looks at Kinch and LeBeau with a sneer* Wise words, Sergeant... Langenscheidt!! 30 days in the cooler for the little cockroach! *Looks at Hogan again enjoying the fact that the most insolent one of his prisoners did not protest at all* *Lowers the crop* Dismissed!! *Turns for the Kommandantur and marches off*

*listens to Klink's speech* *although it's nothing out of the ordinary there's something very different about the speech today, almost like hatred* *hearing the words "my camp" emphasized with such venom makes his mental light bulb click on* *maybe the reason Klink has been so angry since the reveal is because he feels like a fool for not believing Hochstetter's accusations?* *or maybe Klink feels like he's been the Kommandant of Stalag 13 in name only?* *feels his stomach twist from this train of thought* *knows Klink is smart enough to have figured everything out if he'd really wanted to* *firmly believes the only reason he managed to succeed for so long is because Klink is a good man who believes the best of people**if anything, they've been running the camp together this entire time, each of them doing what they're the best at* *is horrified he didn’t realize any of this sooner* *resolves to try to speak with Klink after he repairs the roof so he can set the record straight* *is too preoccupied to hear the rest of the speech* *jumps when he feels the riding crop touch his neck and lift his chin* *the fire he sees in Klink’s eyes is unnerving* *for the first time in his life, he is truly scared of Wilhelm Klink* *also a little turned on because seeing Klink truly embrace the role of a fierce Kommandant is hot* *would love to see that in a sexual setting* *his shiver is due to more than one reason* *is grateful Kinch held LeBeau back because nobody needs to antagonize Klink any more than he already is* *that includes him so keeps his mouth firmly shut as well* *his dark eyes clearly show the terror and excitement he's feeling as he looks at Klink* *blows out a breath of air after he leaves* "Yeah...I think it's safe to say the Iron Eagle is still peeved. Hopefully, he'll calm down once Schultz tells him the scullery's been renovated." *looks at his teammates* "I'm gonna go change and then get started on that roof. Don't wanna waste any more time putting that off." *walks away*-Two hours later- *is dressed in his coveralls and boots again* *has been steadily working to repair the huge hole on the roof of the motor pool* *dragging his tired body up and down a ladder multiple times is easier said than done, but it's necessary to get more materials* *is determined to do a good job so Klink will have one less thing to worry about* *keeps working even though he's practically dead on his feet**nails another board into place*

*just got off the phone with Stalag 2 when Schultz knocks on the door* Come in *leans back in his chair feeling rather satisfied with himself* I wonder Schultz... it's been nearly 2 hours since I send the irate Frenchman to the cooler and Colonel Hogan has not shown up to annoy me about it.... *takes out one of his cigars to celebrate the deal he just made with Stalag 2*

Schultz: *was pretty anxious when he got called into the office* *but instead of an irate Klink he finds a Kommandant with a strange satisfied expression on his face that that is somehow much more alarming* *oh boy, something is going on here... better to try and appease the Kommandant* *Hogan told him to not yet tell the Kommandant what he was trying to do, but if he doesn't now, he might not get a chance again* Herr Kommandant... Colonel Hogan is busy repairing the roof of the motor pool, therefore he could not come to ask you about LeBeau... I also think that he would not like to anger you further, Herr Kommandant. *watches Klink light his cigar and for once doesn't wish he would be offered one, he just wants to get out of here. He doesn't like this weird new Kommandant* Colonel Hogan is actually trying to earn your forgiveness. He feels very bad about what happened, so it seems. Therefore he cleaned the mold in the scullery. All on his own. And then he scrubbed both the guards latrines and the prisoner's. *gets more and more nervous to get out as he feels the Kommandant's wrath will be directed at him if he keeps saying things in Hogan's favour* H didn't even stop when two of the guards dumped the dirty water on him! he seems to be sincere.... *pulls his shoulders up as if he expects Klink to throw something at him*

Geschenkt! *slaps his palm on the desk* *is annoyed by Hogan's act* what do I care about hte scullery and the latrines?! *then the evil smirk returns to his face* maybe we should go out and tell Hogan that he doesn't need to bother any longer... *takes a deep drag from the cigar then puts it out* *gets up and takes his riding crop * Come on Schultz, this is gonna be fun! *marches off towards the motor pool and Schultz follows*
*when he reaches the motor pool he sees Hogan on the roof dressed in coveralls and hard at work* *earning his forgiveness by fixing a roof and scrubbing latrines! hah!* * looks up to him with disdain* *how would that lessen his pain and humiliation?!* *but he's going to teach that little shit a lesson* *an ultimate lesson* *he will never be betrayed or fooled again* Colonel Hogan! *yells with amusement in his voice* what are you doing up there?!

*nails the last board into place* *wipes his sweaty brow* *looks down when he hears Klink’s voice* *at first he thinks he hears amusement, except that can't be right because Klink still looks mad* *sees Schultz looking up at him with a concerned expression* *normally he would be worried about that but he is beyond exhausted* *it's all he can do to stay awake* *shouldn't even be on the roof because it's not safe when he's in this condition* *really wants to get this job done, though* *has forced himself to stay awake and keep working* *Klink deserves someone who puts his needs and wants above everything else* *would gladly be that person if his kommandant would let him because he has a lot of love to give* *yells down* "I'm fixing the roof of the motor pool for you, sir! I heard you needed it to be done and thought I'd take care of it for you!" *is glad Klink is even talking to him as he stands up so he can go get more wood* *wipes his sweaty hands on his coveralls* *sways for a second or two before catching his balance* *desperately needs some sleep but repairing his sort-of relationship with Klink comes first* *he can sleep once everything is okay between them again* *walks towards the edge of the roof where the ladder is*

*has just reached the ladder when Klink drops his bombshell* *He's being transferred to Stalag 2 this afternoon?* *But Klink knows he has his operation here!* *breath catches in his throat as it dawns on him that Klink must be doing this on purpose* *God, the man he loves truly hates him* *Klink must have never cared about him at all!* *the combination of shock, anguish hit him like a sack of rocks to combine with his exhaustion* *vision blurs and he can't see* *an expression of anguish appears on his face* "No...God, no! Anything but that!" *misses his grab for the ladder* *whirls his arms to catch his balance but fails and plummets off of the roof* *lets out a blood-curdling scream on the way down* *body hits the ground with a loud 'thud' right before a loud cracking sound is heard* *his head slaps against the hard ground, bounces up and slaps against it again* *stars swim behind his eyes* *head is pounding as he tries to stand up, only to fall back down* *looks at his left leg in shock* "My leg...it's broken."

*was close enough to hear the whole exchange* *is angry Klink would do this when he knows why Hogan is needed here* *mouth drops up when he sees Hogan fall and hit the ground* *goes running over to his colonel's side* *glares at Klink* "Are you 'appy now, you twister? Colonel Hogan broke his ruddy leg because of you! He was too exhausted to see straight after staying up all bleedin' night to do your paperwork! But 'e got up on that roof anyway because he wanted to 'elp you out!" *points an accusing finger at Klink* "He worked himself to the bone yesterday too, doin' tasks to make your life easier because he felt guilty! Even made sure your ruddy scullery would be renovated today so it'd be one less thing you 'ad to do!" *snarls* "The Guv'nor should have left you in Hochstetter's clutches! Instead, he rescued you and told off that lousy Jerry on your behalf! And this is the thanks 'e gets? Cor, how can you repay him like this?!?" *Cockney accent is thicker than usual* *is too wound up to worry about insubordination*

*sounds stern* "Knock it off, Newkirk! This isn't the time or the place to talk about any of that. Besides, you already know my views on Colonel Klink. Those haven't changed. He...he's justified in sending me away." *it breaks his heart to say that even though it's true* *has no idea why he still cares about Klink at all anymore, but he does* *chalks it up to being in love* "After I leave this afternoon, I fully expect you fellas to conduct yourselves as you always have. That means not holding a gruge against the Kommandant about any of this. Consider it my last order as your CO." *sighs* *looks at Klink* *swallows his pride* "Sir, I humbly beg you to allow me adequate time to say goodbye to my men. I also beg you ensure whoever replaces me, should you choose to do so, isn't a racist." *struggles to get his next words out* "I'm...I'm sorry I put you through all of this, Colonel Klink. I really am. But I'm glad we met, and...and I'll miss you. You and all of my other friends here." *starts to get to his feet, gritting his teeth again the pain*

*feels a wicked satisfaction when Hogan begs for anything but that but then the man falls and he feels frozen to the spot with terror* *throws his hand to cover his mouth in shock* *for a moment he fears Hogan has cracked his skull and is dead but then he gets up* *which is a relief but it also makes him sick to think that Hogan is trying to stand up with a broken leg* *The englishman runs to Hogan and curses at him but he doesn't listen, he is too shocked* *slowly walks over to Hogan and kneels beside him, his expression between shock and worry* *reaches out for Hogan but doesn't dare to touch because he doesn't want to worsen any injuries* *breaks out of his stupor when Hogan tells Newkirk to knock it off* *stares at Hogan in disbelief* *has Hogan gone mad? why is he not angry? and does he not feel pain?!!* *but Hogan's behaviour becomes even more wild* *stares at Hogan with wide eyes not believing what he sees and hears* *it can't be true! Hogan would just submit to all this without protest? and tells him he'd miss him?! And does he not feel pain?!!!* *when Hogan tries to get up again he finally snaps out of it* WILL YOU SIT THE FUCK DOWN, YOU MORON?! your leg is broken!! *his stomach turns when he looks at the blood seeping from Hogan's pants... a compund fracture... he shudders* and only god knows what is wrong with your head!! *exasperated* *he turns his head to look at Schultz* SCHUUUULTZ!!! What are you waiting for?!!! A stretcher!! and the medic!!

*looks at Klink with wide eyes when he yells* *Klink might sound exasperated but at least that means he cares...right?* *he hopes so* *never in his entire time at Stalag 13 has Klink ever yelled at him like that before* *hope springs eternal* *Yes sir." *is mainly obeying as he’s told because his leg seriously hurts* "My head will be alright, Kommandant. I have a thick skull. Could use an aspirin or two, though. I've got a doozy of a headache now." *grimaces* *speaks in a hesitant tone* "Could you...could you find it in your heart to postpone my transfer until my leg heals?" *hastily* "It shouldn't take longer than 8 weeks, and I'll stay out of your way. You won't even have to look at me if you don't want to. After that, I'll willingly comply if you still wanna transfer me. Please?" *looks down at the ground* *feels ashamed he's been reduced to begging*

Will you shut up, Hogan?! *feels a mixture between anger and helplesness* The medic will decide whether you're alright or not! *feels like a giant dick being mean to someone who doesn't resist at all* *this isn't fun if Hogan doesn't fight back* *and it worries him beyond imagination that Hogan just submits... and even begs... that is not like him...* *is it the head injury or does Hogan truly regret the episode with Hochstetter so much that he would willingly give up his command and operation?* Can't you for once think about one thing at a time?! *sounds properly worried now* You should be worried about your injuries not your transfer! *looks at Hogan reproachfully* besides what kind of monster would i be to put a man who probably has a concussion or maybe worse into a bumpy truck for 7 hours?! *offended* *reaches for Hogan again* *the englishman who has stayed silent until now looks like he's gonna bite him if he touches the Colonel but he couldn't care less* *carefully strokes through Hogan's hair at he back of his head* *as he expected his fingers come back bloody* *prays that it's just a laceration* where's that medic? *murmurs angrily* *he wants to pull Hogan close and comfort him, all his anger and hatred went up in thin smoke when he saw the stubborn idiot being so miserable* *what a stupid idea to want revenge* *he should have accepted Hogan's apology that night in the forest and moved on* *finally he hears Schultz and Sgt. Wilson approach* Finally! What took you so long?! *angrily* *gets up* That man is going to the sickbay immediately!

Wilson: *kneels next to Hogan to examine him while Schultz places the stretcher next to them* *frowns at Hogan's bloody leg* *then checks his head and pupils* *gets up to face the Kommandant* Colonel Klink, *pauses to think about how he can make the Kommandant comply with his request* while I technically could fix up Colonel Hogan here in the sickbay, I would feel much better if he could go to the hospital to get a proper X-ray. *sternly looks the Kommandant in the eye* that's the only way to properly exclude the possibility of a fractured skull and it would also greatly simplify the alignment of the leg and removal of splinters.

*wasn't planning on objecting to anything Sgt. Wilson would say* Granted *turns to Schultz* the staff car *turns to Wilson again* I'm coming with you to make sure he'll be accepted at the hospital. *He would love to leave Wilson here so he could be the one riding in the back with Hogan and make sure he was alright but he isn't willing to take any risks, so he's going to ride in the front with Schultz*

*has been watching the entire exchange after his outburst in silence* *is pissed at Klink for calling his CO a moron but grudgingly admits that it's true this one time* *anyone with common sense knows you can't put weight on a broken leg* *it's not like a muscle cramp where you can just walk it out* *nearly lunges for Klink when he reaches for Hogan, fully intending on shoving that monocle and riding crop of Klink’s down his throat* *is stopped by a warning look from Hogan* *it breaks his heart to see his normally confident CO begging for anything* *when Schultz pulls up he helps Wilson lift Hogan onto the stretcher* *snarls at Klink* "If you harm so much as one hair on the Guv'nor's head while he's there, I swear to God I'll -"
